ADULT SOFTBALL LEAGUES

Attention adults!  It’s your time to recreate. You spent all year car pooling and watching your kids play. 

Now it’s your turn ...

Season begins on April 30.  Each league plays two round robins.  Length of season will be determined according to teams in league.  Double headers may be scheduled.  A maximum of eight teams per league.  All games played at Dana fields.

Monday evenings – Coed League            Code: SBM7

Wednesday evenings – Coed League       Code: SBW7

Sunday evenings - Women’s League       Code: SBSW7

Open registration begins on March 12^th.  Team Manager’s meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 27^th at 6:30pm at WSEC. 

Team Fees: $700, fee can be paid by sponsor (s) or players.  Players may sign up as individuals or as small groups.

WOMEN’S DOUBLES INTERMEDIATE TENNIS LEAGUE

Tuesday Evenings

May 22 – August 14 (2 weeks practice, 10 week league, skip July 3)

7:00 – 9:00 PM

Beach Middle School Tennis Courts

$50 per participant               TWA or TWB

The first two meetings 5/22 and 5/29 are drop in practice days.  Mandatory play starts 6/5. Rain out date is 8/21 and 8/28. Substitutes on list will play at no charge. Tennis balls will be provided. We will accept a maximum of 40 committed women.

This league is not for beginners, there will be no teaching. Two divisions based on tennis ability. Players will self-rate themselves at time of registration. “TWA” is for advanced competitive play and “TWB” is for intermediate competitive play. Questions, call the Chelsea Recreation at 475-1112.

Registration deadline is May 22.  NO REGISTRATION will be accepted after the deadline and schedule is created.  Schedule will be mailed and in hand by MAY 31.  A site supervisor is needed for program to run.  The site supervisor’s responsibility includes handing out tennis balls and updating point schedule.  Position may be shared. Site Supervisor’s program fee will be waived. 

MEN'S DOUBLES/ INTERMEDIATE TENNIS LEAGUE

Monday Evenings

May 21 – August 13 (1 practice meeting, 10 week league, skip May 28 & July 2)

7:00 – 9:00 PM

June 3 – August 12 (no play 7/1; 10 week league sessions)
